Milna, Croatia

Milna
Dragonsinger On the Quay at Milna

We like the idea of doing school all day then going for a short passage late in the afternoon. Yesterday, after visiting the castle at Kastle Luksic, Croatia and completing school, we pulled up the anchor and took an hour and a half to travel to the town of Milna on the island of Brac. We are tied up on the main quay and as soon as we arrived Jocelyn and Karalee went for a walk to explore and get to know the town.

Fish Boats
Fish Boats in Milna Harbour

For recess this morning we retraced the walk that Jocelyn and Karalee did last night and then explored more of the hills behind the village. We came out near where the fish boats are moored and stared across the harbour at the large fish processing plant which is one of the main industries for Milna. Then it was back to the boat to continue our school day.
