Istanbul, Turkey - Part II

The Blue Mosque is visible from most parts of Sultanahmat. The Mosque is actively used to worship today. Between calls to prayer you are allowed to visit the inside of the Mosque and gaze up at the towering ceilings and windows. Sultanahmat is located on the Sea of Marmara and it is only a short walk to the seaside from the Blue Mosque or any of the other major attractions.
