David's Diary: Thursday, May 6, 2004

Back in Cagliari

We woke up at 06:00 expecting to head for Carloforte. We awoke to rain lashing down on the deck of Dragonsinger and moments later a huge thunderbolt lit up the sky and a few seconds later the sound rolled over Dragonsinger. With any thoughts of doing a passage today banished, we all went back to bed. Late in the day the sky cleared and the weather looked more promising. In the evening, Bruce and David went to a bar with Alexandrio, a friend that Bruce had made. Alexandrio was crew on a sailboat moored in Cagliari.
