Split, Croatia - Part I

We spent almost two weeks in Split, spread over August and early September, 2002. Diocletian was a Roman emperor who around 284AD built his retirement palace in Split. The remains of the palace form the walls of the Old Town. The following are pictures in and around the Old Town.
