Sahara Desert, Tunisia - Part III

Our final day in the desert saw us heading back to the oasis village of El Faouar. Saïd, our guide, provided lunch at his house. We then waited around for our transport to the village of Douz. When the transport was delayed, Saïd arranged for two donkey carts and all ten of us and our luggage were driven on the carts through the oasis making us feel that we had truly experienced the Sahara desert.
