Cotswolds Day Two: Gardens and Falcons

Bourton House Garden

We had more than an hour to visit the gardens at Bourton House, but it really wasn't enough time to enjoy the splendid work of the gardener. The view above shows a small part of the garden with the carefully designed hedges. Surrounding this part of the garden were small benches where you could sit and enjoy the view.

Falconry Center

An advantage of an organized tour like The Weyfarers is that you will try some things that you wouldn't otherwise. After visiting Bourton House, we made a visit to the Falcony Center just outside the town. We enjoyed learning more about the hunting birds of England, but if you don't fancy Falconry you can visit the Arboretum, part of the same park, with its wide variety of trees.
