Cotswolds Day One: First Church

Cows and farmhouse

After walking through the town of Little Barrington, we headed off on a public footpath through the middle of some fields. We encountered our first domestic wildlife as we walked through these fields. Before long, we were completely used to running into sheeps and cows. The farmhouse was covered in a beautiful ivy that was turning red as fall approached (we did our walking tour in late September).

Windrush Church of St. Peter

Our walk continued to the tiny village of Windrush. We stopped at the small Church of St. Peter in the center of the Village. This small church provided a needed rest from our morning walk and gave Kerry a chance to provide us with more history of the area.
