July 23-24, 2010: Vancouver to Bodrum via Frankfurt

Our first stop was Bodrum, Turkey where we planned to meet up with our friend Dick Leighton on his Prout 39 Catamaran Van Kedisi. Karalee, Allen, Allen's cousin Sharra Peasley, and David left Vancouver in late afternoon, travelling through Frankfurt and Istanbul, a twenty hour journey.

Sharra lives in the country west of Edmonton, Alberta. She has never been outside of North America. We hope to introduce her to lots of new sights and experiences.

Our first stop is Bodrum, located on the southwest corner of Turkey. We will be spending a week cruising the Mediterranean visiting new and old spots that we first saw on our Two Year Mediterranean Adventure.
