Final Days in Puerto Vallarta

The last couple of days in Puerto Vallarta, we continued to enjoy our stay and the town of Puerto Vallarta. We ate dinner at one of the hotel restaurants. We explored Puerto Vallarta, including the church of La Parroquia de Nuestra Senora de Guadelupe. We arrived at the church just as a local wedding finished. The bride and groom looked fabulous standing on the church steps with everyone looking on.

We walked through Zona Romantica, the Old Town of Puerto Vallarta. We found a family run Mexican restaurant and stopped for a late afternoon snack of fresh made tacos which we washed down with beautifully made fruit smoothies.

We spent more time at the beach, splashing in the waves, and throwing an ultimate disc. Every missed throw seemed to end up in the ocean. The waves retreated taking the disc with it as we splashed in to retrieve it. We finished our week, sun tanned and relaxed, as we gathered together in the hotel lobby to head home.

There is also a separate Flickr photo set of sights in Puerto Vallarta which you can view here.
