Garden Bay, Pender Harbour
On the mainland side of Georgia Straight, Northwest of Vancouver is the region called "The Sunshine Coast". This area is a popular summer resort for Vancouver residents. It also has many excellent stops for boats crusing North.
This picture was taken at Garden Bay in Pender Harbour. Pender Harbour is a large protected set of bays North of Merry Island and Thormanby Channel. The scenery in this picture is typical of the West Coast near the ocean. This particular picture was taken with a small lake in the foreground.
