April, 2005: Virtually Here

After a terrible ski season at Whistler-Blackcomb, the snow started to fall in April. In the middle of the month, David was offered the opportunity to evaluate technology from Virtually-Here. David travelled up to Whistler with Virtually-Here's CEO Stewart Nimmo, along with well-known Vancouver investors Mike Volker and Richard Moore. We spent the day testing clever GPS/Wireless devices that told us both where we were on the mountain and where each other was. After skiing, we had dinner at the Mongoli Grill, which is owned and operated by Mike's daughter Andrea.
